Evansville Regional Airport
Hafer Associates, along with HNTB, designed this facility to be the primary point of arrival for visitors to Evansville. Design goals included ensuring the destination gave a good impression, welcomed visitors, and showcased the best the community has to offer. The new air terminal building is the first in a series of improvements proposed in the airport’s long-range expansion program. As designed, the primary concourse features large overhead skylights, providing ample natural light and was conceived to create a favorable first impression. Vehicular and pedestrian circulation is efficiently planned and facilitates access into to the terminal.
