Children's Museum of Evansville
CMOE is a conversion of an existing historical building, the old Central Library that was constructed in 1931, into an exquisite, vibrant environment where children and adults, alike, can let their imaginations run wild.
The renovation of this building provides six exhibit galleries in the areas of Health and Interactive Science, How Things Work, Arts and Music, and flexible space for traveling exhibits. It also has a water exhibit and a play "Quack Factory" for children to explore and operate. This project is a design-build team effort between Hafer Associates, Industrial Contractors, and Professional Consultants. The exhibit designer is Roto Studio from Columbus, Ohio.
