Integra Bank
Hafer Associates designed this 146,000 s.f. banking complex
consisting of a nine-story office tower, a renovated three-story
historic structure which served as the banks original building,
a landscaped pedestrian plaza, and a forty-car visitor parking
court. The building is linked across an alley to the original
bank via a second level bridge. At street level, the building
design reflects the original building’s Italian Renaissance
inspiration, and the brick facade of the upper floors complement
the area’s traditional masonry structure. The interior
features a unique two-story lobby of granite, marble and
wood. Wherever possible, elements of the original building,
some more than 100 years old, were restored and incorporated
into the interior design.
